Stefan Soloviev
Stefan Soloviev started working in his family’s real estate business as a teenager, initially managing parking lots in his father’s buildings. In the mid-1990s, he left the University of Rhode Island to focus on commodities trading. In 1999, Stefan Soloviev founded Crossroads Agriculture to cultivate, purchase, store, and sell commercial grains in the Wichita, Kansas area.
By the early 2000s, the company had successfully shifted its operations to the western edge of the High Plains, producing grains in historically dry agricultural regions through the use of drought-tolerant seeds and emerging agricultural technology. Beginning in 2004, Crossroads Agriculture started acquiring grasslands south of Portales, New Mexico, which marked the inception of the company’s ranching operations.
As of 2023, Soloviev owns and operates farmland and ranches across Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Texas, and New York. His strategic approach and innovative mindset have allowed him to adapt to various market conditions and grow his business significantly, establishing him as a respected leader in the agribusiness sector.
Under Stefan Soloviev’s leadership, Crossroads Agriculture has continued to evolve, embracing modern technology and sustainable practices to optimize agricultural production across its various locations. This forward-thinking approach has not only enabled the company to thrive in challenging environments but also to create a positive impact on the communities it serves.
